- If a single session is disrupted (e.g., Zoom outage), we’ll offer a make-up or extend replay access.

By attending, I understand and agree to the following:
1) Confidentiality and Community Care
This course uses presentation, discussion, online demonstrations, and optional practicums. Personal and clinical material shared by participants is confidential and may not be recorded, copied, or shared outside the group. I will treat others’ information with the respect I expect for my own.
2) Online Format and Limits
- Fewer nonverbals: Video learning can introduce misunderstandings; I’ll request clarification as needed.
- Privacy and security: Online learning uses third-party services (e.g., Zoom, ISPs) that carry their own security risks despite reasonable safeguards.
3) Scope and Responsibility
This is educational and professional development, not psychotherapy, medical treatment, or clinical supervision. Participation may bring up emotions. I will self-pace, pause, or step out as needed and seek personal therapeutic support outside class if appropriate. Ongoing support beyond teaching is not the responsibility of the facilitator or Cynthasis, Inc.
4) Demonstrations and Practicums
If I volunteer for a demonstration or participate in practicums, I do so to support learning. Demonstrations are not therapy. I’ll engage respectfully with partners and facilitators. Sessions are recorded for enrolled participants’ review during the 30-day replay window. My personal work will not be used beyond this class without my separate written consent.
5) Recording and Intellectual Property
- Cynthasis’ content (slides, handouts, recordings) is © Cynthasis, Inc., for my personal learning only. I won’t copy, share, publish, or use it commercially without written permission.
- Participant restrictions: I will not record, screenshot, download, or redistribute sessions or other participants’ shares.
- Future teaching use: Any future use of recordings will include teaching content only; participants’ images/names/stories are excluded unless explicit written consent is given.
6) Technology and Participation
I’ll maintain a stable internet connection and use Zoom. Headphones and camera-on are encouraged to support safety and experiential practice. If tech issues arise, I will troubleshoot them at once.
7) Accessibility and Accommodations
Cynthasis aims to make the course accessible. For ASL, live captioning, or other accommodations, email info@cynthasis.com.
