Welcome to the Self-Spotting Workshop, designed for those wanting to expand their meditation practice or try focused mindfulness. This workshop offers a unique opportunity to explore self-regulation and mindfulness using Brainspotting principles.
Self-spotting is a self-led exercise that supports clarity and grounding by blending Brainspotting principles with mindfulness meditation. This dynamic practice fosters self-care and stress relief, offering numerous benefits, including enhanced relaxation, personal growth, stress management, and physical tension relief. Clinicians can use self-spotting to manage empathic feelings and navigate counter-transference, while individuals can target specific brain areas related to bodily sensations for relief. The practice also supports visualization and projection, helping individuals envision desired states and future events, thereby enhancing clarity and empowerment.

Although I had a lot of therapy before Brainspotting, it was the Brainspotting that helped me make the shift to release past images and negative feelings.
Brainspotting helped me develop a healthier relationship with my body and to deepen my relationship with my partner. I use the tools that I learned with my practitioner every day to stay connected to my body and my emotional reactions to stress. I am so grateful to have these tools, especially over the last year.
Self-Spotting has given me some freedom from my anxious moments. I know I have a tool, time and energy to reflect and connect with how my body is reflecting to the pain, worries, and fears both ahead of and behind me. Self-Spotting has helped me develop and harness a positive relationship with myself!
